Summer is just warming up at The FARM. This weekend, August 7th and 8th, The FARM is putting the FUN in farming! The FARM has a diverse crop of activities for all ages.
Woody Tasch and Slow Money
 Starting Friday, August 7th at 6:00pm, THE FARM Institute, Bunch of Grapes Bookstore and Slow Food MV are teaming up to bring you author and economist Woody Tasch. Woody will be giving a talk on his latest book Inquiries into the Nature of Slow Money. His book is a call to action, a call to design new capital markets built not around extraction and consumption, but around preservation and restoration. [View press release | Visit website]
Babe visits The FARM
 On Friday, August 7 at 8:15pm, MV FILM Society and Ciao Bella Gourmet Gelato are bringing the beloved classic movie Babe to the big screen at The FARM. Ciao Bella will be selling their delicious gelato and sorbet, including yummy frozen flavors such as Mexican chocolate, chai tea, maple walnut, apple caramel crisp, strawberry merlot, and green apple. Come before the movie starts to enjoy your Ciao Bella gelato and sorbet.
Dress appropriately, and bring beach chairs or blankets to sit on. Tickets are $5 dollars for children under 12 and $8.00 for adults. [Read press release]
Summer's Family & Community Chores
 On Saturday, August 8th, all ages are welcome to attend our Summer's Family & Community Chores. Come at 9:00am sharp and lend a hand in taking care of the animals and gardens. [more info]
Corn Maze
If you need more of an adventure, come on by and explore our new 5-acre corn maze. The maze is now open seven days a week from 10:00am to 7:00pm. [View flyer | Read press release]

Tours & Farm Stand
If you can't make it to one of our programs, stop by and take a tour of The FARM weekdays at 11:00am and 1:00pm. You are also welcome to visit our new farm stand selling produce and meats, open from 11:30am to 4:00pm Monday through Saturday.
