FARM Institute Upcoming Event

 

Directions to The FARM Institute at Katama Farm from Upper Main Street, Edgartown by the Stop & Shop

Continue towards Edgartown approximately 0.2 miles. Upper Main Street forks to the right and becomes Cooke Street. Proceed to a Stop sign.

Continue straight to a second Stop sign, and then turn Right onto Pease Point Way. You see signs to “South Beach”.

Continue on Please Point Way through 2 Stop signs.

You will come to a fork in the road, and keep left.

Proceed approximately 1.6 miles and you will approach a small FARM Institute and Aero Avenue sign on your right.

Take a right on Aero Avenue and proceed on the dirt farm lane until you reach the parking area for the farm on your right.

Enjoy the views.

Family & Community Chore Morning
Every Saturday in June, July and August

Cost: $5.00 per person, or
$10.00 per family

Opportunity to be an active participant on a working farm. 

The FARM Institute at Katama Farm is holding their monthly morning Family and Community Chores on every Saturday, 8:00am - 10:00am.  Island residents and visitors of all ages are invited to Katama Farm for a morning of chores on the farm.  This Saturday, the FARM Institute encourages anyone interested in lending a hand (big or small) to come on down to the farm. 

Scheduled Chore Projects Include:

  • Collecting eggs
  • Feeding and care of Cows, Sheep, Pigs, Goats and Baby Chicks
  • Garden and barn chores
