Beef and Lamb Sale

The FARM Institute (TFI) now has organic, grass-fed beef and lamb for sale. Our animals are raised on grass without the use of antibiotics, hormones or synthetically fertilized feed. They graze on the seaside pastures of Katama Farm with the caring and respectful hands of TFI staff and students.

The FARM Institute is a teaching farm that educates and engages children and adults in sustainable agriculture on a diverse working farm. TFI provides year-round educational programs offering learning experiences in: farming, land preservation, nutritional awareness, growing food, and the culture and history of Martha’s Vineyard farming.

Our students take an active role in the operations of this small working farm. In addition to our education programs, we also produce highly nutritional agricultural goods including meats and produce. By purchasing TFI meat, you are not only making a healthy food choice and helping rebuild and sustain the Katama Farm, but also supporting TFI children real and meaningful life shaping experiences.

Pick up dates: arrange for pickup after Thanksgiving 2006.

Beef: sold in 10lb and 20lb sample boxes (a variety of steaks, ground meat, roasts, and stew meat).

• 10lb beef: $70
• 20lb beef: $130

Lamb: sold in 5lb and 10lb sample boxes (a variety of cuts, chops and ground meat)

• 5 lb lamb: $45
• 10lb lamb: $90
• ***for an additional charge we will ship overnight
