Edgartown, MA—The FARM Institute Invites Island residents and Visitors for Family and Community Chores: Saturday, July 26, @ 9:00am with Author Norman Bridwell reading his beloved Clifford The Big Red Dog stories @ 12:00pm

Growing food a community in the traditions and culture of Island farming is at the heart of The FARM Institute (TFI). This Saturday, discover the beauty and hope that TFI offers and become an active participant in running the farm that belongs to the community. On Saturday, July 26th,The FARM Institute at Katama Farm is holding their morning Family and Community Chores on Saturday, July 26th at 9am. Then at 12:00, Norman Bridwell will read selected Clifford The Big Red Dog stories. This is a free community event and no registration is necessary. Donations are welcome.

This Saturday at 9am sharp, the FARM Institute encourages anyone interested in lending a hand (big or small) to come on down to the farm.

Scheduled Chore Projects Include:

  • Collecting eggs
  • Milking the goat
  • Feeding and care of Cows, Sheep, pigs and Baby Chicks
  • Garden chores and much more!

At noon, The FARM Institute is honored to have author Norman Bridwell will be reading two of his Big Clifford The Big Red Dogs stories.
