WEE Farmer Program Information and Registration

Child with his mom and a sheepThe goal of Wee Farmer is to introduce young children to the general workings of a farm including farm animals and gardening. Through hands-on experience, they will learn new vocabulary, basic concepts and social skills. The environment of the farm encourages curiosity, gentleness and caring, and the beginning understanding of our food source. More information for this program is available in our 2008 WEE Farmer Packet [PDF] [Word]

This program is for young children accompnied by an adult, and it will run each week Tuesday through Friday from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM. 2-year olds will attend Tuesday and Thursday mornings, while 3-4 year olds will attend Wednesday and Friday mornings. In it they spend time with the farm animals and explore the garden. Stories are read, songs are sung, games are played, and arts and crafts activities are enjoyed.
