Grew up in New Rochelle (NY), graduated from Wellesley College and several
years later. Received an Ed.M. from Harvard, with a concentration
in Human Development. "At home" for 20 years bringing up three
sons.
Worked 25 years in the family business, Shawmut Corporation, as head of Human
Resources and Treasurer. Now, 3/4 retired but still responsible for the company
newsletter.
Is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), a member of the Center for Family
Business at Northeastern University.
Past volunteer work includes counselor at
Community Legal Services president of Temple Israel in Boston;
chaplaincy pastoral visitors program at Brigham and Women’s hospital;
Town Meeting member (Brookline); tutor METCO program for inner-city
children. Recently served on the grants committee of the United
Way (Boston), and as a tutor for ESL program in Boston.
Married to Justin L. Wyner, 3 sons plus 3 terrific daughters-in-law,
and 5 grandchildren. Was a tournament tennis player in my "salad
days" and enjoyed sailing
Seabiscuit (our 54 foot sailboat) for 25 years until we sold
it a few years ago.
