FARM Staff - Emily Duncker, Farmer/Teacher

I come to The Farm Institute as a graduate of Fordham University’s history program. I’ve been living and learning in New York City for four years, and grown a tremendous basil plant, but I have many unanswered questions. WHERE is all of this food coming from? WHO are those farmers at the Farmer’s Market in Union Square?

So, I’m getting back to my Cape and the Islands roots and finding some answers. I’m taking a step up from the community vegetable garden of my childhood in Dennis Cape Cod and moving to the Martha’s Vineyard Farm Institute. I’m excited to be cultivating and nourishing along with your children this summer!
