Hi,
my name is Sara Hoffmann and I am so happy to be working at The
Farm Institute this summer! Teacher/Farmer Jeremy and I moved
to the island from Maine last year, and we are excited to start
a new chapter of our lives here. In my past life, I was an entomologist
(or “bug-ologist)
working with blueberry and apple crops. I love farming, animals,
the Vineyard, and basically everything TFI stands for- so working
on the farm seemed like a perfect fit. As Jeremy and I try to
make our own lives more sustainable, we hope to be able to inspire
others to do the same. Hopefully I’ll
also inspire a few budding entomologists this summer- but if
not, we’ll
at least have a fantastic time exploring all of the wonders TFI
has to offer! See you on the farm!
